Our Mission is to inspire the belief that all young people deserve a chance to prove their abilities and achieve their career goals.
We achieve our mission by connecting high school freshman and sophomores with career exploration acitivities through our Pre-internship Program, juniors with individualized, career-relevant opportunities through our Internship Program, and career and educational support until age 25 through our Career Achievement Program to assist young people in becoming self-sufficient, confident, and productive adults.

Step It Up , Inc. connects students with experts in their chosen career field for
work experience, on-the-job training, on-site advising, and long-term educational and career achievement support.

Step It Up, Inc. pays the student interns' stipend/scholarship, bus transportation costs, and other internship expenses.
Step It Up, Inc. Staff and Volunteers continue to work with the interns throughout the summer internship and school year with tutoring, college and scholarship applications, and career and educational support until the age of 25.
