What is Step It Up, Inc.?
Step It Up, Inc. IS A 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization
that matches career oriented high school students with professional career internships during the summer and pays them a stipend/scholarship. We are now working with the youth from N/NE Portland and have plans to expand our services to the entire Portland-Vancouver Metropolitan Area.
Step It Up, Inc. is made up of
committed Board Members, Advisers, Volunteers, Partners and Sponsors. We all realize the need for career oriented youth to have an opportunity to obtain professional work experience in their career field of interest.
Step It Up, Inc.'s main purpose
is to match high school students who have career aspirations with professional career opportunities and mentors through paid summer internships;
and provide year-round tutoring, college and scholarship application support, and long-term career and educational support until the age of 25.

is to inspire the belief that all students desire a chance to prove their abilities and pursue their carer dreams.

is for all students to have the opportunity to successfully pursue the profession of their choice and become valuable members within our communities.
